I just wanted to say my fears were confirmed. When I arrived home late after hours of uncomfortable traveling my bag did not greet me at the airport. Luckily I had packed all of my shoes, laptop, make-up, jewelry and cords into my carry-on bag. It weighed a million pounds but at least all of those items were safe.
I had to fly out again the next morning and had to scramble to get a new toothbrush - but at least my Manolos made it home okay.
