I'm totally crushing on these lovely peep-toe pumps from Alexandra Neel (at Saks - $695).
The shape is just perfect and they actually look comfortable and wearable.
Of course, they are just a substitute for the feather bedecked heels I really really want and am totally pining away for...

That last show is really a stunner. Total "proposal shoes" (http://generalhousewifery.blogspot.com/2008/02/perfect-for-vacuuming_06.html). How does it work with runway shoes anyway? Are they always made/produced and sold to the public?

ReplyDeleteWendy - I haven't tried any of Alexandra's shoes. I wonder if I would have the same trouble.
ReplyDeleteAnastasia - Sometimes they make/sell them and sometimes they don't, from what I've seen. Or they do a variation. In the case of McQueen, he's doing a number of the shoes and purses from his show (so far) but I haven't seen any of the feather ones yet.
Maybe they are to follow. Let's hope!
