SD Review: Tsubo Kampot Boot

The folks from Tsubo have graciously let me test out another pair from their product line.  This time it is the Kampot boot.  These boots are so unique looking. They're just killer.

They're knee-high boots with a 3" heel that has almost a talon shape.  But these boots have the same cushion-y insole as their shoes, which means you can walk all day in them.

Did I mention I love the design of these?  The shaft is stiched together in waves, adding a unique embellishment without getting fussy or over accessorized. They're streamlined but not at all plain.

The interior has a bit of metallic sheen to it and is coupled with a soft lining.

The Kampots fit pretty true to size, are medium width, zip up inner calf and have two gussets for a bit of calf stretch.

But what's hard to beat are their grippy soles.  You can look fabulous and sleek while not slipping!  Amazing, right?!?

I prefer the black but the brown version done in multi-tonal pieces is funky too.

SD Review: Tsubo Anush mary janes

I shared a review of the Asmik wedge mary jane from Tsubo last month and am ready to tell you all about eh Anush mary jane heel.

Like the Asmik, the Anush is cute and comfortable. I think of it as the work heel that you can wear when running on your feet all day, compared to the more casual look of the wedge.



The toe box is not tight and the adjustable mary jane strap ensures that even my high arches are not uncomfortable.

The heel has a modern curved shape, sort of a mini-banana heel or talon shape.

While this heel has a very professional look it still has the cushy insole that Tsubo is known for.

I tend to baby my shoes but you can't always be in control of where and how long you will be walking around and the Tsubo heels give you the flexibility to not have to worry about that. You can still look stylish and professional while being able to walk all day and on all sorts of surface. I love the fact that the sole is grippy without compromising the look.

SD Review: Tsubo Asmik Wedge

Recently a representative from Tsubo offered to send me a few of their shoes to test out and, as I love learning about new brands, I was excited to accept.

They very kindly sent me two pairs and the first one I tried out was the Asmik mary-jane wedge in black. I don't wear a lot of wedges so it was great to give this a shot.



Tsubo is all about combining comfort and style. I rarely get both in the shoes I wear!



The Asmiks were fun to kick around in. I wore them for a full day of errands and can assure you that they were very comfortable. They have a cushiony insole and the adjustable strap ensures you find your perfect level of tightness. I have pretty high arches so having a strap across the top of my foot can be painful unless it is adjustable.

I did have to adjust my walking style a bit. Wearing a wedge compared to a heel is like driving an SUV vs a car, ya know.

I love the grippy sole too. It really ensures your stability.

My favorite way to wear these is paired with some bright tights. They have such a cute shape!
