What Would You Pair?

I need some help!!!

Last year for my company Christmas party, I asked for your thoughts on two outfit options.   I ended up going with the poofy party dress and Manolos and had a splendid time.  Since you gave such good advice that time, what do you think I should do this year???
I am wearing a sequin sheath dress from JCrew topped with a tuxedo jacket.

The sequins are patterned in green, cold and silver and there is a raw edged liner as you can see here.

I'm totally considering pairing this with my vintage top hat and the Kate Spade Night Owl bag.

So here are four narrowed down shoe options I'm considering:

1. Alexander Wang Anais silver tassle pumps

2. Christian Louboutin Yo Yo Zeppa suede peep-toes

3. Manolo Blahnik Urbana Nappa Oro gold sandals

4. Christian Louboutin Lucifer

So what do you think???

I'm leaning towards the Louboutin peep-toes but am totally open to suggestions.  Some back-up options are:

Camilla Skovgaard Chastity Sandals...

Camilla Skovgaard London Pumps...

... or the Prada Endless Spat boots....

What say you????

Le Sigh - Miu Miu Fluorescent Spat Heels

Eminently impractical and I already have a representative pair from the season, but I am sighing over these Miu Miu fluorescent spat heel/boots.

Must talk self out because I've more than reached my limit of shoes for the month (heck, the rest of the year!)

Now, if someone wanted to get them for me, I wouldn't say "No".  I'll take the size 6, please.

Ensemble du Jour

This was the outfit I was going to wear last Saturday but it was too rainy to risk it with my new shoes.

I even debated wearing plaid tights (a much smaller plaid) but thought that might look a bit crazy... at least for my office.

It was still chilly out but not too bad.
Cardigan: Field of Flowers from Anthropologie
Cardi: Target
Skirt: JCrew
Tights: ???
Shoes: Chanel Fall 2008 via Ebay

I think I need to get a detail shot of this cardian because it has some great elements. Big carved buttons that are actually snaps and ribbon cut ends to the heathered grey trim. I've had this for about 5+ years now. That is one of the good things about the pieces from Anthropologie. They're so unique yet classic. Sadly they are typically pricey too unless you get them marked down on sale, which is what I usually wait for.

Another Fall

I may not be always be lucky, but I am patient, especially when it comes to shoes I fall in love with. And, with enough time, I think the luck can be made to happen.

Last year I fell for these Chanel black and white spat boots cleverly photographed on Claudia in Central Park.

Nice legs, but look at those boots!

Had to have them... couldn't find them. But then, on one of my rare visits to eBay, there they were! My size (or close enough). Way priced off retail. And all for meeeeeee........!!!!

For their first foray out, I paired them with black tights and a chunky, comfy sweater dress.

Those are snaps going up the outside.

To continue the whimsy, I added my black and white and red Alice's White Rabbit necklace from Paraphernalia.

Needless to say, I need to avoid eBay now for another 6 months. It's just too tempting and dangerous for me. But Miss WendyB will be pleased to know that I did snipe!

Near Misses

One of the shoes I really really wanted this past Fall were these Chanel spat ankle boots. I didn't do a lot of searching because I had already bought the two-toned mary janes and the tights. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't want them if I found them.

But then yesterday I thought I was in luck! Haute Macabre featured these adorable booties on Urban Outfitters.

Aren't these great? Wouldn't these be wonderful and a great option since I couldn't find the Chanel ones?

Yeah, too bad... They're sold out.

Now I'm bummed all over again. Maybe they will come back in stock. It would be a very merry Christmas indeed if they did!
