More than a month ago, I expressed my love and desire for the Hold Court Quinn bag and the Delavan Terrace Linden basket bag. But I decided to be good and not get them.... or at least hold out until the next sale.
Well, thank you Kate Spade because the Friends and Family event this weekend enabled me to get both for 25% off! Sweet!
And ever since I saw this picture, I've been pining for the JCrew frog clasp bracelet in blue and
green. But every time it come up, it gets sold out immediately.
Well this time I jumped on it!
It's on back order for months, but I hope it will still show up!
For immediate gratification, I got their cute apple print skirt. It's such a fun print and breezy. Perfect for the upcoming summer months!

Have Your Cake and Eat It Too
I had a wee Etsy breakdown moment a few week ago where I became totally smitten with this cut steel bracelet by Untamed Menagerie. Mistakenly attributed to Marie Antoinette, the Let Them Eat Cake sentiment appeals to my snobby side as well as the feeling of being misquoted. But that's much too long of a story and this is too fun of a bracelet.
There is delicacy in the fanciful script but the strength in the steel creates a unique tension. I think it's perfect with a soft sweater, jeans and tough boots.

Disney Dreams
Once I left working for Disney, I pretty much stopped buying any Disney paraphernalia. I have enough princesses and pixie dust to tide me over for the next decade. But I do admit to being more than a little tempted by the nOir Jewelry collaboration for the 50th Anniversary of Fantasia.
I especially love that they focused a number of pieces on the Rites of Spring scenes...
Scene 1: Genesis
I love the dinosaur bone cuffs.
Although I do have quite a fondness for the Nutcracker scenes. Dancing mushrooms. Fairies and snowflakes...
But really, who can resist the dancing hippos in Dance of the Hours? I may have gone as a dancing hippo for Halloween one year.
And I've always thought the Pastoral scenes were the prettiest.
I do wish they had done something devilish for Night on Bald Mountain (I love saying the name Mussorgsky!)
