Featured Shoe: Christian Louboutin Very Prive Lace Peep-toe

Today's featured shoe is quite possibly one of the prettiest I own. Let me introduce the Christian Louboutin Very Prive Platform Peep-toe in nude crepe and black lace.

Such a pretty shape - here they are waiting for the Color Study - Neutrals photoshoot.

And from the back they are just sex-ay!

With the red sole they are simply wicked...

It's kind of hard to tell from the photos but they nude crepe fabric is an amazingly delicate pinkish nude that is almost shell-like.

I tend to think they have almost a boudoir feel to them.

I find Louboutins so funny. Almost every pair, even in the same shape, fits differently. These happen to fit but then they get a little loose in the heel in spite of being kind of narrow. Some fit great, some fit loose, some fit tight. Is there no consistency to the lasts they use?

Why such variance?

Featured Shoe: BCBG Max Azria Caldea Blush

If you were looking at my Flickr Color Study set you may have seen these beauties when I listed my Pink Color Study group.

One thing doing this project is doing is reminding me of some of these adorable shoes I have lingering in my closets. I need to get them out there more often. At the very least they need to be photographed!

I don't remember exactly where online I first saw these BCBG Max Azria Caldea heels but I remember swooning over how amazing they are.

You really need to look at these images bigger because they are just so detailed. Pink, tan and dark brown sections with dark brown stitching and scalloped edges.

They are just a confection!

Plus they have an amazing heel shape.

I wore these with the pink Liz Claiborne plaid skirt and a grey tee. I was quite girly.

A Lovely Young Lady

I'd just like to give a quick feature on my lovely neighbor. Miss KA here is off to a dance in her adorable (and not overly-sexy - thank goodness!) dress. She stopped over on her way out to show us her cute outfit... and shoes, of course!

I was also very impressed with her hair, which she styled herself. I can't do anything near as good as this!

And... cute shiny black peep-toes!

This girl is a lady in every sense. She's sweet and talented and very smart. Isn't it nice to know that there a people still out there like that?
