Imitation = Flattery?

I am definitely the type of person who can get caught up in the excitement of an "it" shoe. But what I hate is when everybody also has the "it" shoe and it gets to the point where the item is so knocked off that there is almost no reason to get it any more... because what was in now is soooo out. The Tory Burch Reva ballet flat was a trend that I didn't jump on at all. But as you will see in the following two pictures, Nine West and Payless did.

You could take this as a way to get a hot trendy style at an affordable price (since its shelf-life is so short) or you could take it as a warning that if you buy a cute trendy but expensive designer shoe people may still think you bought them at Payless.

And nobody wants that.

Ha, I noticed this as well. I figured it had to be a mark of how successful this style is, that it's so imitated.

Love your blog!
